Black Hall Kalbar Wedding Venue

Nestled behind White Chapel is Black Hall – a once humble ‘Sunday school’, that has now been transformed into a sophisticated place of celebration.

Outside, is a large, timber pergola area draped in fairylights.  It features a woodburning, outdoor fireplace for those cool, evening celebrations and is the perfect place for ‘welcome canapes’ and  It is also where we hold our ‘silent discos’ after the wedding.

Step inside past the large ‘barn doors’ and you’ll enter ‘Black Hall’.  It’s where you’ll find restored timber floors, panelled walls and a welcoming stone fireplace complete with antler chandelier.   Long, rustic timber tables with oak cross-backed chairs, also help to create the country feel.

There’s also a hint of the new, with a 65” 4K LED flat panel TV and Apple TV for audio visual presentations, as well as a P.A. system for speeches.  And the area is totally airconditioned.

Maximum seating is for 76 guests.

Black Hall offers the perfect country wedding escape .  It even has its own bus to take you and your guests to a host of accommodation in the area and boasts a new, luxe bridal residence for up to 8 people .  ‘Herrmann House’ is conveniently situated only a few hundred metres away from the venue.
