Timeless country romance comes to mind when planning this beautiful wedding for Mr and Mrs Downes.

There aren’t too many couples around whose wedding plans haven’t been touched by COVID, and Grace and James are no exception. But they didn’t let the pandemic put a dampener on their day, as these pics by one of our favourite photographers, Figtree Pictures are here to prove.

Location: Christmas Creek Thoroughbreds | Wedding Date: March 2021 | Number of Guests: 160 | Approx. Budget: 80k+ | Wedding Planner + Co-ordination: Scenic Rim Bride

The wedding ceremony was traditional, taking place at the historic Tamrookum Church in picturesque Christmas Creek.  After a heartfelt ceremony, guests delighted in gourmet grazing and free-flowing champagne inside the established church grounds.  Guests were then transported by private coach to the Groom’s parents property, and treated to an incredible setting!  Spectacular sunset views taking place over mountain vista ranges as resident horses grazed in the nearby paddocks.

Not one, but three impressive white Sperry Tents adorned with an all white setting was brought to life with earthy tones of sage paired with fresh white roses.  Our Bride looked heavenly in not one, but two Darb Bridal gowns.

We hope you feel inspired by this timeless country romance wedding style.
