The Notebook theme became apparent when the venues wedding co-ordinator, Carmen,Kennedy shared news of a rowboat arrival. ” It was a perfect opportunity to create a modern take on the romantic drama film.” The Notebook stars Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams as a young couple who fall in love in the 1940s. The film is an adaptation of the 1996 novel by Nicholas Sparks.
